Fashion brand franchises grew by 8.5% in 2024

The fashion brand franchises market in Brazil showed impressive performance in 2024, with an 8.5% growth in revenue, according to the ABF (Brazilian Franchising Association). Renowned brands such as Bibi, Milon and Peça Rara Brechó stood out in this scenario, reflecting the increased interest in franchise-based business models in the fashion sector.

Bibi, the largest children's footwear chain in Latin America, ended the year with exceptional results. With over 75 years in the market and a presence in 22 countries, the brand achieved an 8.6% growth in revenue in 2024, with a highlight on e-commerce, which saw an increase of 43%. Sales growth in its physical stores was also significant, with the company recording a 22% increase in Same Store Sales (SSS) in December, consolidating the best end of the year in the brand's history.

Milon, which is part of the Kyly Group, also showed positive results in 2024, with a 17% growth in revenue, despite the climate challenges and the lack of a harsher winter in Brazil. The brand, which focuses on children's clothing inspired by European design, has been expanding rapidly. In 2024, Milon opened 14 new units and converted 18 of its own stores to the franchise model. For 2025, the forecast is to open 17 new operations and increase revenue by 20%.

Peça Rara Brechó, which operates in the circular and sustainable fashion segment, also showed remarkable performance. With 18 years of operation, the brand has stood out for its proposal to promote conscious consumption, offering second-hand products that go beyond women's and children's fashion, including decoration items and furniture. With units in almost all capitals of the country, the brand has major expansion plans and expects to reach 300 stores in the next 5 years.

These results show that the fashion franchise market continues to grow in Brazil, offering great opportunities for brands that want to expand their businesses. The franchise model, especially when combined with innovations in e-commerce and sustainable concepts, can be an excellent strategy for reaching new audiences and increasing profitability.

Brands that already have a strong position in the market, such as Bibi, Milon and Peça Rara Brechó, are showing that, with strategic planning and well-structured execution, it is possible not only to grow, but also to stand out in a competitive market.
